Adriana Francesca Lima is a Brazilian model, best known as a Victoria's Secret Angel since 2000, and as a spokesmodel for Maybelline cosmetics from 2003 to 2009. At age 15, Lima finished first in Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" competition, and took second place the following year in the Ford "Supermodel of the World" competition before signing with Elite Model Management in New York City.

She also on the cover the August 2006 issue of Maxim due to her supporting role in the David Ellis-directed film Snakes on a Plane (2006), alongside Samuel L. Jackson. She received good reviews for her work in the Spanish film Ninette, helmed by Oscar winner José Luis Garci. She participated in 2009 in the Mexican series Mujeres Asesinas as Paula Moncada in the episode "Ana y Paula, Ultrajadas". She also starred in the action noir film Give 'Em Hell, Malone and Dario Argento's Giallo.

She has denied rumors that she will play the part based on her friend Lauren Conrad in the film L.A. Candy based on the book by Conrad. If she signs to the role, this will be her first lead role.
